Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Trap’s IPM programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with the latest pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and environment.

IPM programs are successful for a simple reason. They recognise that pest management is a process, not a one-time event, and that relying solely on chemical controls is never the best solution.

By addressing the underlying causes of pest infestations, access to food, water, and shelter, IPM can prevent infestation before pesticides are even considered.
